9/11 will be the 1 yr anniversary of the house fire. Checks woke me up in time to escape the flames. Sad to say 5 of our Before anyone asks, we are doing fine. Checks and I have healed up. The little guy put himself between the flames and me. So we did get a tad singed.
On the bright side, we have a new home that we love. We have welcomed Betty (the cat) into our lil family. Andy is in Law Enforcement and I am a girl friday in the virtual realm.

Sorry I didn't answer sooner! I used to make crafts a lot. I'd see something at a craft show and go home and make it (not anything requiring much sewing, no crochet or knitting). I mostly like to recycle things. I'm a music teacher so I often have to make props for musicals out of the cheapest thing available, like vests out of large Christmas napkins! My last greatest craft was muslim angels with quilted placemat wings. They were beautiful if I say so myself! I spend all my time writing now, and playing with the grands!
